A Wide Area Video Electronic Lottery (WAVE) is a lottery where at least a small portion of business includes the distribution of VLTs into small venues. Initially, these jurisdictions were served by casino equipment suppliers that considered the WAVE a niche of their overall business. Today, the WAVE is an industry of its own merit. At this session, program managers from these WAVE markets discuss current and future equipment management strategies, including replacement and time lines.
