ALAJA and Reed Exhibitions Announce New Joint Partnership On
Latin American Gaming & Entertainment Expo 2003
Management Agreement Expected to Better Serve Growing Latin American Casino Entertainment Market
Asociación Latinoamericana de Juegos de Azar (ALAJA) and Reed Exhibitions today announce their partnership agreement to jointly manage the upcoming Latin American Gaming & Entertainment Expo 2003 (LGE), the industry’s leading Latin American casino entertainment exhibition and conference. LGE 2003 is scheduled for November 11-13, 2003 at La Rural in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Reed Exhibitions, the world’s largest trade show organizer, is best known to the gaming community as organizer of Global Gaming Expo. Since that show’s inception in 2001, G2E’s attendance has increased by over 50%. With the strength of joint partnership between ALAJA and Reed Exhibitions, LGE is expected to deliver the highest quality of attendance by all members of the Latin American-based gaming community.
The official voice for the growing Latin American gaming entertainment community, ALAJA, was created in 1999 to properly represent the needs of Mexican, Central and South American-based casino management business operations. Earlier this year ALAJA launched LGE to better serve the growing Latin American gaming market.
"With their management of G2E, Reed has clearly proved itself a leader by delivering expertise in growing exhibitions and successfully addressing the business objectives of the casino-entertainment industry worldwide,” notes Martín Canepa, President of ALAJA. “As the number of casino operations continue to expand in all of Latin America, our gaming community and ALAJA’S membership will undoubtedly benefit from this cooperative arrangement. We saw such success with G2E in the United States, and we shall see it here in Argentina at LGE 2003."
ALAJA’s membership is represented by the worldwide gaming industry’s leading manufacturers and casino operators from Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, France, Germany, Hungary, Mexico, Monaco, Dominican Republic, Panama, Peru, Spain, United States, Uruguay and Venezuela.
